ClariLegal announced on May 8, 2019 that Shawn Cheadle, General Counsel, Operations at Lockheed Martin Space, has been elected to the ClariLegal advisory board.

“Supporting ClariLegal as an advisory board member, Shawn offers practical recommendations and thought leadership,” said Cash Butler, ClariLegal Founder and CEO. “Shawn’s guidance will help support the ClariLegal platform as we work to transform the legal industry’s request for proposal practices, dramatically improving how the legal industry buys services.”

Cheadle joined Lockheed Martin Space (LM Space) in 2007 and was recently appointed as General Counsel, Operations, serving launch operations, supply chain, production, quality, facilities, security and special initiatives. Previously, he was the General Counsel to the Military Space line of business at LM Space. In that role, he supported government and international contracts negotiations, drafting and dispute resolution, and was integral in the LM Space award of the $7.2B contract for the next generation of GPS satellites for the US Air Force.

He also supports information governance, digital transformation, eDiscovery, records management, and counterfeit parts investigations, and other functional organizations at Lockheed Martin. He is a former ACC Global Board Member, founder and past chair of the ACC Information Governance Network, former ACC Law Department Management Chair, and former Board member and President of ACC Colorado.
